CBSE Class 12th Result 2024 Declared: Key Highlights and How to Check
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results for Class 12th today, on May 13. Students can now access their CBSE Class 12th results on the official websites – cbseresults.nic.in & cbse.gov.in, as well as on other platforms like DigiLocker website – digilocker.gov.in & UMANG app.
Overall Pass Percentage
The pass percentage for CBSE Class 12th stands at 87.98 percent. This marks a slight increase from the previous year, with the pass percentage rising from 87.33 percent in 2023 to 87.98 percent in 2024, indicating a marginal improvement of 0.65 percent points. Notably, girls have outperformed boys in the CBSE Class 12th result 2024, with a pass percentage of 91.52 percent among girl students compared to 85.12 percent among boy students, resulting in a difference of 6.40 percent points. Additionally, out of the total 6,33,730 students registered for the CBSE Class 12 exams this year, 16,21,224 students appeared, and 14,26,420 students successfully passed. The pass percentage among transgender students stands at 50 percent for this year.
CBSE Class 12th Exam Schedule
The CBSE Class 12th exams commenced on February 15 and concluded on April 2 this year. In comparison, the CBSE Class 10 exams began on February 15 and ended on March 13. The school-wise results will soon be accessible to schools via their respective school email IDs.
Steps to Check CBSE 12th Result 2024:
- Visit the official website of CBSE: Navigate to cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘CBSE board results’ link: Look for the link specifically designated for board results.
- Access the 12th result link: Once you click on the board results link, locate and click on the Class 12th result link.
- Enter login credentials: Provide your Roll number and Date of Birth in the required fields.
- Submit and view results: After entering the necessary information, submit the details to view your CBSE Class 12th results on the screen.
- Take a printout: For future reference, it’s advisable to take a printout of your results.
